At Safer Hands, we’re seeking committed Key Workers to provide consistent, one-on-one support for young people aged 16+ living in our supported accommodation. As a Key Worker, you will:
- Hold a small caseload and develop personalised support plans
- Facilitate regular key work sessions to build trust, confidence, and life skills
- Help young people access education, training, and employment opportunities
- Monitor wellbeing, update daily logs and reports, and maintain safeguarding standards
- Liaise with social workers and professionals to ensure joined-up support
- Advocate for young people during meetings, reviews, and transitions
- Encourage independence in areas like budgeting, hygiene, and self-care
You’ll be a mentor, a steady presence, and a positive influence during some of the most critical years of a young person’s life.

Requirement:
- Minimum of 1-2 years in a similar role
- Strong safeguarding and risk managment knowldge
- Confident in leading shifts, completing reports, and developing junior staff
- Make Real Impact NVQ Level 3 or higher (or willing to work towards)
